Minescape Addon

I’ve been hard at work for the past week and a half, addressing a lot of the most obvious bugs and adding some quality of life features that I think you’ll all love. For those who are already familiar with the addon, I will include all of the Patch Notes for 0.6.1 here, but I will also update all of the essential information below for those who are new. I’ve also started working on a Minescape BE Wiki site for people who require rapid access to more in-depth information, and I’ve made a video walking through all of the patch notes and modifications.

This Wiki will serve as a repository for the add-massive on’s quantity of data while also allowing you to quickly find what you need.

The comments and information from version 0.6 are listed below; any details about 0.6 that were inaccurate have since been rectified.

This is Minescape’s biggest update yet, since it is the culmination of 2-3 months of studying and developing systems never seen before in Minecraft. The skills in this version are mostly inspired by Runescape, which is where I get a lot of my current inspiration. Agility, Attack, Constitution, Defense, Ranged, Thieving, and Prayer are all introduced in this release. Although Agility, Constitution, and Thieving are currently the only functional skills with their own mechanics, I’ve included the techniques for leveling up the other abilities as a placeholder. These talents will be changed in future releases to include new mechanics, but I’m holding off until I’ve finished creating other skills. The incredibly long notes of all the changes in this release may be seen below. Please consider subscribing to my YouTube channel if you want to support me and my material. You can find it via the trailer, which is supposed to display glimpses of all the new features coming to the game. I intend to start creating guides for each talent as separate videos and offer the most effective ways to get experience in them. As I begin work on Minescape 0.7, which will introduce Farming and Herblore, anything you earn while playing may have its appearance changed, its properties adjusted, or it may be completely erased. With this information in mind, play it.

NOTES ON THE 0.6 PATCH

Existing Content Modifications

Modifications to the World’s Settings:

To take use of everything this add-on has to offer, you’ll need to enable Holiday Creator Features, Custom Biome Creation, and Experimental Molang Features.

Updates to the Download:

The download has been reorganized and is now a single file.

This should make mcaddon more accessible by eliminating the need for two separate RP and BP downloads.

Bags of loot:

Problem: Loot Bags did not fit in the direction I wanted to take the addon, and I believe they have a detrimental impact on the objectives I’m pursuing. While they were entertaining at the time, they no longer suit the Minescape ethos.

Solution: Loot Bags have been removed from Minescape in version 0.6; as a result, any villagers who used loot bag trades will become unusable, and all loot bags and filters put up with loot bags in mind will no longer work. When upgrading to 0.6, please plan ahead. There is a different pack for loot bags, but it overwrites the new loot tables I generated for this version, making it impossible to level the Prayer skill. If enough people want an alternate pack with loot bags, please let me know.

Goblins of the Treasure:

Problem: While Treasure Goblins are a fun and unique mob addition, they currently have little function other than entertaining gimmick things, and some of the qualities of these gimmick items were starting to affect the way you played in ways I didn’t intend.

Treasure Goblins will no longer appear in the world as a result of this solution. I heard they’ve gone off in pursuit of new riches… They could reappear at any time.

Hats for Parties:

Problem: They’re one of the most powerful helmets available, and they’re quite easy to get if you’ve got an autonomous farm. They were also a part of the Loot Bag system, which is no longer in use.

Solution: All monsters now have a slight chance of dropping Party Hats, which can also appear in chests. The base armor and durability of Party Hats have also been reduced. The armor and durability values of all ordinary Party Hats have been reduced to match those of Iron Helmets, and the values of Black Party Hats have been changed to match those of Diamond Helmets.

Wither Cores, Ender Dragon, and Wither Armor: Infused Crystals, Wither Cores, Ender Dragon, and Wither Armor:

Problem: Infused Crystals, the Wither Core, and the armor sets that came with them were only meant to be a temporary addition to the game as I gained new skills. The crystals also give the player far too much leeway in terms of what they can do, and being 100 percent resistant to an effect 100 percent of the time isn’t something I want to aim for, at least not with a single item with no disadvantages.

Solution: Due to the addon’s rapid popularity, I’ve chosen to remove all of this stuff completely. I don’t want folks to get to the point where they have this armor and then find out that when 0.7 comes out, they will lose it everything. These features will be contained in a separate addon that I am developing.

Cloaks & Mastery Cloaks & Mastery Cloaks & Mastery Cloaks & Mastery Clo

Cloaks and then Mastery are a problem. Cloaks clipped through an Elytra when worn, making them function and appear clumsy.

When a player puts on an Elytra while wearing a cloak, the cape part of the cloak is now covered. The cape will reappear once the Elytra is removed.

New Items in the General Category

Viewer of Statistics:

A new item, the stat viewer, can be made from a book. When you interact with the stat viewer, it will display your stats in alphabetical order as level, current XP, required XP, total level, and total XP, as well as your total level and total XP.

Tokens of Mastery:

Every 750,000 XP, you’ll get a new item called Mastery Tokens. Limited-time goods, mastery cloaks, and more will be crafted with these!

Skills

Constitution:

Breakdown

Constitution is a health-based skill that improves with each enemy killed. At levels 9,19,29,39,49,59,69,79,89, and 99, you get an extra heart container. This system incorporates health adjustments, with the result that players can no longer regenerate naturally. To gain a regeneration benefit, you can now eat any food item. The strength of hunger’s regenerative impact has been directly proportional to the amount of saturation food offered. Cooked chicken, on the other hand, will replenish more hearts than a potato.

Items

Players can wear the Constitution Skillcape at level 99 Constitution, which offers a Regeneration 1 effect while worn.

Minescape addon

Calculations

For all types of battle, Constitution XP is computed as DAMAGE DEAL * 3.

Agility:

Breakdown

Agility is a stamina-based skill that improves as you move about your environment. The incorporation of a stamina system is the skill’s most significant aspect. As far as I can tell, the stamina system is percentage-based, and sprinting depletes stamina. You can replenish stamina by walking, crouching, or standing stationary. In general, the slower you go, the faster you restore stamina every second. In addition, you will receive a minor increase to your stamina regeneration for every 9 levels you gain in Agility. It is color-coded at four distinct % thresholds to provide better sights so you don’t have to gaze at your stamina. In order to improve the game’s balance, this approach also removes the hunger function.

Items

The Magical Parrot Feather, a rare feather collected from parrots and utilized in crafting recipes for the Winged Boots and Winged Helmet, is introduced by the Agility talent.

The Graceful Set is the first to offer perks based on how many pieces you’re wearing.

Players can wear the Graceful Boots at Level 17 Agility, which provide a small increase to stamina regeneration when worn alone and a substantial boost when worn with the rest of the Graceful Set. Stats for leather armor are provided. It’s made from four rabbit hides arranged in a boot shape.

Minescape addon

Players can wear the Graceful Cape at Level 31 Agility, which grants a minor increase to stamina regeneration when worn alone and a substantial boost when worn with the rest of the Graceful Set. Stats for leather armor are provided. 5 rabbit hides in a helmet formation were used to make this item.

Minescape addon

Players can wear the Graceful Top at Level 57 Agility, which grants a minor increase to stamina regeneration when worn alone and a big boost when worn with the rest of the Graceful Set. Stats for leather armor are provided.

Minescape addon

Players with Level 68 Agility can equip the Winged Helmet, which regenerates 2% stamina every 3 seconds. Iron Armor stats are provided. 2 Magical Parrot Feathers and 5 Iron Ingots were used to make this item.

Minescape addon

Players with Level 81 Agility can equip the Winged Boots, which reduce fall damage by 50% and increase speed by 1. Iron Armor stats are provided. 2 Magical Parrot Feathers and 4 Iron Ingots were used to make this item.

Minescape addon

When players reach level 99 Agility, they can equip the Agility Skillcape, which reduces stamina depletion, jump boost 1, and speed 2 by 40%. 1 Mastery Token was used to make this item.

Thieving:

Breakdown

By allowing you to take stuff from villagers, travelling traders, and piglins, Thieving introduces a fresh new mechanic to the game. You’ll only be able to steal from Nitwit Villagers at first, and you’ll have to level up before you can take from the next villager! Each villager type has its own set of objects to steal, which are unlocked at certain stages. The more XP you acquire from a villager, the higher the level necessary to steal from them. You must crouch and engage with villagers in order to steal from them. You must then stay within three blocks of them to have a chance to steal. A successful steal has a 70% chance of being successful by default.

While I won’t go into all of the stuff that may be stolen from these villagers, they usually provide you items that you can either trade with or trade for, as well as a few unique items like the Rogue Set.

Items

Players can wear the Rogue Boots at any level of Thieving, giving them a 20% chance to receive double rewards for stealing with one piece and a 100% chance to receive double rewards for stealing with the entire set equipped. Provides the protection and durability that Leather Armor is known for. During a robbery, this item was discovered.

Minescape addon

Players can wear the Rogue Trousers at any level of Thieving, giving them a 20% chance to receive double rewards for stealing with one piece and a 100% chance to receive double rewards for stealing with the entire set equipped. Provides the protection and durability that Leather Armor is known for. During a robbery, this item was discovered.

Minescape addon

At any level of Thieving, players can wear the Rogue Trousers, which give them a 20% chance of receiving double rewards for stealing with one piece and a 100% chance of receiving double rewards for stealing with the complete set equipped. Provides the same level of protection and durability as Leather Armor. This object was discovered during a robbery.

Minescape addon

At any level of Thieving, players can put on the Rogue Mask, which gives them a 20% chance to get double prizes if they take just one piece, and a 100% chance to get double awards if they steal the entire set. Provides the protection and durability that Leather Armor is known for. During a robbery, this item was discovered.

Minescape addon

Players can wear the Thieving Skillcape at level 99 Thieving, which applies to the Rogue Outfit set effect and boosts the probability of successfully stealing by 15%.

Prayer:

Breakdown

Prayer is a skill that allows you to use Prayer Points to activate different effects and bonuses. Prayer points are proportional to your Prayer level, therefore if you have 30 Prayer Points, you have 30 Prayer Points, and if you have 99 Prayer Points, you have 99 Prayer Points. You can either bury bones on the earth, sacrifice them at a Gilded Altar, or sacrifice them at a Chaos Altar to gain XP in Prayer. The quantity of XP you gain is determined by what you spent bones on. This skill is now unusable, which means you can’t use Prayer Points, but you can still receive XP from it. Bones are dropped by any adversary that drops bones ordinarily. Bones are dropped by smaller creatures and humanoid mobs, Big Bones are dropped by gigantic creatures like the Ravager, Burnt Bones are dropped by Nether monsters like the Blaze and Wither, Dragon Bones are dropped by the Wither and Ender Dragon, and the other three are self-explanatory.

Items

The Gilded Altar is made with the Gilded Altar Centerpiece.

Minescape addon

Players can wear the Prayer Skillcape at Level 99 Prayer, however it currently has no added effects other than being in the strongest armor tier. When Prayer is implemented, the amount of Prayer Points consumed when Prayers are engaged will be reduced.

Minescape addon

Blocks

The Gilded Altar may be made anywhere in the world and gives you 2x XP when you use bones on it. The Gilded Altar Centerpiece, a book, white carpet, polished blackstone bricks, and two gold nuggets are used to make it.

Minescape addon
Minescape addon

The Chaos Altar can only be discovered in Zamorak Temples in the Nether and cannot be created. The ones found in the temple cannot be mined or broken because this will remove the block. When you use bones on it, you get a 3x XP bonus. Although these are the top sources of XP, finding and using them is risky. The wither effect can be inflicted by sacrificing bones at the Chaos Altar, so be careful how often you utilize this potent barrier.

Minescape addon

Structures

The Zamorak Temple, which is introduced by Prayer, is a new construction in the game. The Chaos Altar is housed in this edifice, which has a rare chance of appearing in the Nether and provides tremendous prizes such as diamonds, iron, and bones.

Attack:

Breakdown

Attack is a talent that may be improved by doing melee damage to enemies. You receive Attack XP for doing melee damage to a monster. To utilize stronger weapons after the addon is fully integrated, you will need to reach certain levels of Attack. To compare to vanilla Minecraft, a Wooden Sword would require Level 1 Attack, a Stone Sword would require Level 10, a Gold Sword would require Level 25, an Iron Sword would require Level 35, a Diamond Sword would require Level 50, and a Netherite Sword would require Level 60. This skill will not be completely implemented until other skills are added, but you will be able to earn XP while waiting.

Items

Players with Level 99 Attack can equip the Attack Skillcape, which grants the user a Strength 1 effect when worn.

Minescape addon

DAMAGE DEAL * 7 is the formula for calculating attack XP.

Defense:

Breakdown

Defense is a skill that may be leveled by attacking enemies with melee or ranged attacks. You gain Defense XP as you deal more damage to a mob. To use better pieces of armor after the mod is fully completed, you will need to be at particular levels of Defense. To compare to vanilla Minecraft, you’d need Level 1-10 Defense for Leather Armor, Level 15-25 Defense for Chainmail Armor and Gold Armor, Level 35-45 Defense for Iron Armor, Level 50-60 Defense for Iron Armor, Level 70-80 Defense for Diamond Armor, and Level 85-95 Defense for Netherite Armor if this was implemented (These numbers are examples, not actual determined values). This skill will not be completely implemented until other skills are added, but you will be able to earn XP while waiting.

Items

Players with Level 99 Defense can equip the Defense Skillcape, which offers a Resistance 1 effect while worn.

Minescape addon

Calculations

MELEE DAMAGE 5 and RANGED DAMAGE * 4 are used to calculate defense.

Ranged:

Breakdown

Ranged is a leveling talent that is earned by doing ranged damage to enemies. Ranged XP increases when you deal more ranged damage to a creature. To utilize superior bows/arrows after the addon is completely completed, you will need to be at particular levels of Ranged. If this were implemented in vanilla Minecraft, a bow would require Level 1 Ranged, a great bow would require Level 15, and a crossbow would require Level 25. This skill will not be completely implemented until other skills are added, but you will be able to earn XP while waiting.

Items

At Level 99 Ranged, players can equip the Ranged Skillcape, which gives no benefits aside from its armor value while worn.

The majority of the changes in this release are now complete. I didn’t discuss all of the other modifications that have been made and refined over the last few months, but you’ll find out for yourself as you play. Now I’d want to go over the following updates! Minescape 0.7 is what I intend to release. HOPEFULLY coinciding with the release of the Minecraft 1.18 update in a month or so.

Agriculture is a way of life for many people (RELEASES 0.7)

Farming will be one of Minescape’s first fully developed talents, allowing players to plant crops, care for themand harvest their resources. I want to build a unique farming experience in which you must work to keep your crops alive and monitor them (but not too closely) in order to obtain more drops from them. If a crop dies, you’ll only get a 1:1 drop for the same seed from the plant, which means you’ll have to restart the growth process.

You may obtain 3 – 4 new seeds if a crop is alive and well. You must be at a certain level to farm and cultivate certain crops;

if you have not achieved that level, you will either be unable to plant it or will be unable to keep it alive. (At the moment, I’m undecided on which path to take.)

Herblore is a term that refers to a (RELEASES 0.7)

Herblore will be published concurrently with Farming, as the resources you’ll be farming for will be useful in Herblore. With Herblore, you’ll need to clean the herbs you harvested while farming by soaking them in water, then combine them with other ingredients to make potions! This potion system will allow you to connect with other existing skills like Agility to enhance stamina, provide level boosts to allow you to access objects at a higher level temporarily, and more. You must have reached the required Herblore level in order to clean certain herbs and brew certain potions.

Wiki about fandom

There will be a lot of new content added to Minescapeadd as updates are released, and it will be difficult to keep track of it all and find the information you need on specific skills. I no longer believe that an in-game guidebook would be adequate for ALL of the material, but simply for the essentials. As a result, I’ll be working on producing a Fandom for the addon that contains ALL important information. I don’t know when this will be released at this moment.

Full Integration of Prayer (RELEASE TIME UNKNOWN)

I aim to add complete Prayers integration shortly, but this will require me to go back into the UI, so it won’t be available until after the UI improvements are released. To use Prayer, you will need to use an item that brings up a menu allowing you to select which prayers you want active. Each prayer requires that you be at a specific level. You’ll be able to utilize a maximum of two prayers at a time, but there will be an item that allows you to use three prayers at once. Once you’ve chosen your prayers, I’ll let you crouch and use the item to activate them; crouching and using the item again will deactivate them. This indicates that you will use the item without crouching to open the menu.

Updated User Interface (RELEASE TIME UNKNOWN)

One of my aims is to change the UI to better resemble the colors of Runescape Inventory; with some time and effort, I should be able to do this. After that, I’ll dive deep into JSON UI and learn how to construct a custom GUI so I can customize how things like player hearts, armor, and other stats are shown. My goal is to display a player’s HP, Armor, Stamina, and Prayer Points on the standard UI. This will be a significant step forward for me because it will allow me to upgrade all of my other skills with better visuals, such as displaying a bar while stealing from villagers. I have no idea when I’ll be able to release this.
